Getting started

Installation

Add the package with the manager you already use. Types are included, and there are no dependencies to pull in.

On this page
bun add cronbake

Requirements

Cronbake needs a long-running server process on Bun or Node. The published builds have been tested on Bun 1.3 and on Node 22 and 24.

Browsers aren’t a supported target, because the file persistence provider imports fs and path.

The package ships ESM and CommonJS builds with TypeScript declarations. The ESM build is about 32 KB, or 7 KB gzipped.

Importing

Baker is both the default export and a named export.

import Baker from "cronbake";
import { Cron, CronParser, FilePersistenceProvider, RedisPersistenceProvider } from "cronbake";

CommonJS works too:

const { Baker, Cron } = require("cronbake");

Some types you might reach for aren’t exported yet, including JobMetrics and PersistenceProvider. The types reference shows how to derive them.
